308 series thermostat is mainly used in water heaters, the products are bimetal as a temperature-sensitive components can replace Emerson (U.S. T.O.D.) 59T, 66T temperature control.
Working Principle
The working principle of KSD308 single temperature control:
KSD308-A05:Auto reset one single-pole, single-throw, i.e., one switch controls a set of circuits which control a set of normally closed contacts which are disconnected as the temperature rises. Once the application temperature drops to a specific reset
temperature, the contacts will automatically reset to their normally closed state.
KSD308-A04: Auto reset one single double throw, basically the same as the single single throw, will control a group of circuits, but the group of circuits control two groups of contacts, normally closed contacts open when the auxiliary contacts closed, the circuit on; normally closed contacts reset when the auxiliary contacts closed, the circuit open.
When the normally closed contact is disconnected, the auxiliary contact is disconnected, the circuit is disconnected.
The working principle of KSD308 dual body temperature control:
KSD308-A02: manual reset + single-knife single-throw automatic reset, normally closed contacts will be automatically disconnected when the temperature rises to the set temperature; reset key is manually pressed, when the return to normal operation
When the reset button is pressed manually, the contact can be automatically reset to the closed state when it returns to the normal operating temperature. Once the contact is open, if the reset button is not manually pressed, the contact will not automatically reset to the closed position even when the temperature returns to normal operation unless the temperature drops to 32F (0°F).
The manual reset mechanism has been used by various certifying bodies. This manual reset configuration is referred to as "M1-Automatic Trip" by various certifying bodies.
KSD308-A01: Manual reset + double-pole, single-throw auto-reset is essentially the same as the single-pole, single-throw described above, but with the addition of an extra set of circuits, which also controls a separate set of contacts, both of which are either closed or open at the same time.

Series 66T thermostats are factory calibrated for temperatures ranging from 160°F to 220°F.
Series 59T thermostats have an adjustable temperature range above 110°F with a minimum calibrated temperature of 90°F (32°C) and a maximum calibrated temperature of 200°F (93°C).
All thermostats shipped from the factory are 100% tested for various product operations. Product certification standards, European (TUV), American Standard (UL, CUL).
